Professional Experience
Thang (also known as “Nelson”) founded TQT Lawyers after nearly a decade leading Migration Myway, building on more than 25 years of legal practice across Vietnam, Singapore and Australia. For over 8 years as a Registered Migration Agent, Thang focused almost entirely on immigration: preparing compelling visa applications, overturning refusals, managing AAT appeals and coordinating Federal Court reviews with barristers—consistently achieving successful outcomes.
Areas of Focus
Thang’s principal expertise is immigration and citizenship for both Australia and New Zealand. In addition, Thang advises on family law and wills & estates for clients who value having a single trusted solicitor for their broader legal needs.
Personal Background
As a Vietnamese-qualified lawyer who migrated to Australia himself, Thang is uniquely positioned to assist Vietnamese clients with both Australian and New Zealand immigration matters. Thang speaks English and Vietnamese fluently, understands the cultural context, and recognises when immigration issues intersect with Vietnamese law.
By keeping a deliberately limited caseload, Thang ensures every matter receives direct, personalised attention from start to finish.
Closing Quote
“Helping others secure a new future is both my profession and my privilege.”
